Evaluation & medical care

Psychiatry

Psychiatric evaluation and follow-up visits that clarify what you are experiencing and build a plan you understand.

Psychiatry — Initial Intake

Learning about what brought you to seek care, your medical history, and your thoughts and ideas — including what is on your mind, what your treatment goals are, and how we can help.

Psychiatry — Follow-Up Visit

Ongoing visits to continue addressing concerns and situations, perform appropriate testing, evaluate mental health needs, and determine options to enhance your daily life and relationships.

Talk therapy

Psychotherapy

Evidence-based therapy tailored to your needs — for individuals, children, teens, families, and couples.

Psychotherapy — Initial Intake

Learning about what brought you to seek care, your medical history, and your goals, followed by a presentation of evidence-based treatment modalities that fit your mental health needs.

Psychotherapy — Follow-Up Visit

Using evidence-based therapy skills appropriate to your needs, which may include mindfulness, individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, and child and adolescent therapies.

Pharmacology

Medication Management

Careful, collaborative review of medications — what you take now, what has worked before, and what fits your goals.

Medication Management — Initial Intake

Review medications you have taken in the past, current medications, side effects, precautions, and special diet, and decide on possible treatment options that fit your mental health needs.

Medication Management — Follow-Up Visit

Evaluate current doses and symptom management, make adjustments, review side effects, address medication concerns and questions, make appropriate changes to the regimen, and order appropriate laboratory tests when needed.

Loss & bereavement

Grief Therapy

Grief, loss, and bereavement deserve focused, unhurried support. This sacred time in your life needs the care of a focused listener.

How it helps

Grief therapy provides professional support to accompany you and your family through this journey — helping you process what has happened, make room for the emotions that come with loss, and navigate next steps at your own pace.

Who it is for

Adults, families, and anyone adjusting to a death, a diagnosis, a move, or another significant loss. Contact us to ask whether grief therapy is right for you.

Systems & relationships

Family Therapy

The family unit is complex, and conflict often arises. Family therapy brings clarity, strategy, and every voice into the room.

How it works

We assist you in gaining clarity into family goals, harmful patterns, and underlying issues — providing strategies and allowing each family member to be heard and valued while finding root causes.

Who can participate

All members of your family are welcome to participate — even if it is your chosen family. The family benefits from enhanced communication, stronger bonding, and a more resilient unit. See family-related FAQs.

Partners

Couples Therapy

Structured evaluation and follow-up sessions that address communication patterns, conflict, and the dynamics of the relationship.

Couples Therapy — Initial Evaluation

A psychiatric diagnostic evaluation of the couple as a unit: a comprehensive initial assessment encompassing patient history, mental status exam, risk assessment, and treatment planning for the couple.

Couples Therapy — Follow-Up Sessions

Sessions address communication patterns and conflict within the relationship, with documented interventions, outcomes, and goals tied to the treatment plan. Couples develop shared goals, improved communication, and a homework-assignment plan. Planning note: each partner must be present for at least 26 minutes of the 50-minute session.
